1.1 Device Identifiers

When you first open Relveal, we generate and collect the following identifiers:

• Device ID: A unique identifier generated and stored in your device's iOS Keychain. This persists across app reinstalls and is used to maintain your account.
• Vendor ID: Apple's identifier for your device (identifierForVendor), which is unique to our app on your device.
• RevenueCat User ID: An anonymous identifier assigned by RevenueCat for managing subscriptions.

None of these identifiers can be used to personally identify you outside of the Relveal ecosystem.

1.2 User-Provided Information

• Display Name: The name you choose during onboarding. This is visible to your game partner during sessions.

1.3 Gameplay Data

During game sessions, we collect and store:

• Your answers to in-game questions
• Session metadata (game mode, duration, room codes)
• Match/mismatch results and tension profiles
• Session history for your profile

1.4 Technical Data

We may automatically collect:

• App version and operating system version
• Connection status and WebSocket session data
• Error logs for debugging purposes

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• Account Management: To create and maintain your game profile across sessions and reinstalls
• Gameplay: To facilitate real-time multiplayer sessions, match answers, and generate results
• Session History: To provide you with a history of your past game sessions
• Subscription Management: To verify your premium status and manage in-app purchases through RevenueCat
• Service Improvement: To analyze usage patterns and improve the App experience
• Technical Support: To diagnose and fix technical issues

3. Data Sharing

3.1 With Your Game Partner

During a game session, the following information is shared with your partner:

• Your display name
• Your answers to game questions (after both players have answered)
• Match/mismatch results

3.2 Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• RevenueCat: For subscription and in-app purchase management. RevenueCat receives your anonymous user ID and purchase data. RevenueCat Privacy Policy

3.3 We Do NOT

• Sell your personal data to third parties
• Share your data with advertisers
• Use your data for targeted advertising
• Track you across other apps or websites

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with the following protections:

• All data transmission is encrypted using TLS/SSL (HTTPS and WSS)
• Device identifiers are stored in the iOS Keychain, Apple's most secure on-device storage
• Server-side data is stored in encrypted databases with restricted access
• We implement industry-standard security measures to prevent unauthorized access

5. Data Retention

• Account Data: Retained as long as your account exists
• Game Sessions: Session history is retained indefinitely for your profile
• Abandoned Sessions: Incomplete or abandoned sessions may be automatically cleaned up

You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us (see Section 9).

6. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data
• Portability: Request your data in a portable format
• Objection: Object to certain processing of your data

7. Children's Privacy

Relveal is not intended for children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 17. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 17, please contact us immediately and we will take steps to delete such information.
